Everything is a two hour improvised event that consists of all the things that Nicole Bindler and Ashley Tini know or have ever known. Audience can come and go at anytime during the show.
Nicole Bindler is a body-based performing artist whose work is inspired by her training in new dance, dance-theater, Contact Improvisation, Butoh, Body-Mind Centering®, Yoga and Feldenkrais. Her choreography has been shown throughout the U.S., Canada, Argentina, and in Berlin, Tokyo, Beirut, Bethlehem, Mexico City and Quito. Her work has been supported by the Leeway Foundation, the Puffin Foundation, Foundation for Contemporary Arts, Pennsylvania Council on the Arts, Philadelphia Dance Projects, the Community Education Center, FringeArts and the Pew Center for Arts and Heritage. She teaches in the Dance and Theater departments at University of Pennsylvania, Temple University and University of the Arts. She is a member of the Jewish Voice for Peace Artist Council, Mascher Space Cooperative and she writes for thINKingDANCE.
Ashley Tini is a classically-trained percussionist known for her dynamic approach to chamber music and improvisation. She has premiered dozens of contemporary solo and chamber works while also blending in film, dance and conceptual art. Her performances at venues ranging from The Stone to Carnegie Hall channel the emotional power of music across 21st century music genres. A global music advocate, her work is influenced by the popular and indigenous traditions of West Africa, South America, Italy and the Balkans.
